Official ASOT 600 Pre-Party Announced!

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any bigger, the A State of Trance 600 world tour just did! On the 14th of February, Valentine’s Day, the Expedition will touch down in Madrid, Spain! For an exclusive 1500 music fans, the New Garamond club will be the place to celebrate the 600th episode of their beloved A State of Trance radio show.

You’ll feel the love, vibrant and strong, as it fills the Madrid air on February 14th. Only a few weeks to go, until all anticipation, expectations and excitement meet for the official pre-party of the ASOT 600 world tour. From 20.00 on, visitors will witness the radio show live for 2 hours, with Armin broadcasting it live all around the globe. From 22.00 on, the New Garamond club won’t only have Armin, but also a selection of other enthralling DJ names behind the decks. Later on, we’ll reveal who of his friends Armin has invited.

Luckily, Armin’s announcement helped bring back a smile upon the faces of Guatemala’s music lovers, as they started the countdown for March 27th 2013. Next to the events in Mexico, Sao Paulo, Beirut, Kuala Lumpur, New York and Den Bosch, which will be broadcast live, the A State of Trance friends will also explore the capital of Belarus. Indulging the 2 million citizen city with a stunning show at the Minsk Arena, Armin and his friends will make this a night to remember!

Only a few weeks to go until a new year, bursting with musical promises, kicks in. But before we make our way into 2013, we reflect to the past 12 months. It’s that time of the year again…the annual A State of Trance Top 20 voting poll is now open!

2012 has been a big year for trance music and EDM in general. It’s the year of great new talents, musical fusions and surprises. The past 12 months have been bursting with highlights, which Armin selected for you in his A State of Trance radio show. And it’s up to you to decide which of them belong in the A State of Trance Top 20 of 2012, and which one makes it as the Tune of the Year 2012!

Armin van Buuren back to number one in DJ Mag Top 100!

He’s back. He’s done it again. Armin van Buuren has been voted number one DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 of 2012, making it an historic fifth time as the world’s most popular DJ! We’d like to congratulate Armin with this incredible feat, and thank each and every one of you for your continuous support!

Last night, at the DJ Mag Awards Show at the Convention Center in Amsterdam, Armin was awarded for number one DJ, as a reward for his hard work and endless passion for music. In 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, he won the critically acclaimed popularity poll, until David Guetta took over in 2011. This year, Armin won back the number 1 title, the crown to his accomplishments.
